Yummy. Stopped in for quesadillas and chips. Amazing, homemade taste, friendly staff. We will return. Large portions too. Door to bar different from door to food. See you next year after the bike ride. Not greasy. Full chunks of grilled chicken in the quesadillas. Grab and go or sit down.
Made a drive from Moyock to Elizabeth City and saw a cool little sign that grabbed our attention. Big boss burritos definitely has earned its name in my books as I plan to drive back again and try the rest of their food. Starting from the service; Olivia was so sweet and made sure we were taken care of, gave me a recommendation when I was in between two dishes. She recommended the OMG fries and they definitely stood by their name. I saw online they had Micheladas and coming from San Diego I can be picky about them and it was perfectly mixed! The wife got a Big Boss Burrito (B.B.B) she said it was delicious! And had a side of a Margarita of course. The restaurant was clean and welcoming, they also have an outside area that still in work but definitely will bring more people. we came with our 3 yr old and she was occupied with the cool Hopscotch by the front door! The quality of authentic Mexican cuisine that you receive is unmatched. You get so much food for so little, and the staff are beyond amazing and attentive. I love this place and I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for great quality and just amazing food. The atmosphere is so cute and high desirable. It's family friendly and a nice restaurant tucked away in the downtown area of Elizabeth City. One of the best restaurants I've ever been to, and as a foody, I've been a lot of places. This restaurant has set a standard that many restaurants need to try and get to.
We went up to Blue 42's for dinner and drinks. Big Boss Burrito was up there with their food truck. It was delicious! We had tuna tacos, chicken barbacoa tacos, the big boss burrito, and guacamole. The chicken barbacoa and the big boss burrito were our favorites. The people were amazing as well. Very friendly!
